The coach stops in front of the school, and then in front of the group house.
For a class with skis, snowboards and a week's luggage, the coach is usually the simplest journey. No changes, no luggage trolley, one vehicle for the whole group. We work with Swiss coach operators and cost the journey in advance.
Vehicle size follows people and equipment
Depending on the model, a touring coach seats 30 to 55 people. Seat count alone is not decisive: skis and snowboards take up the hold that would otherwise hold the luggage. From roughly 40 participants with their own equipment, a ski trailer or a second vehicle is needed. We check this against your participant list, not against a rule of thumb.
Rest periods set the timetable
Coaches are subject to driving and rest periods. An early morning departure and a late afternoon return on the same day work with one driver; an evening programme in between does not always. In the quote we state which schedule works with one driver and from when a second becomes necessary.
What determines the price
The price follows from distance, vehicle size, number of drivers and standing time on site. A coach that brings the group and returns empty costs less than one that stays for the week. Both variants have their case — we compare them if you are planning excursions during the week.
